The trailer for The Cellar promises to be a classic haunted house horror movie, but it quickly takes a fork in more unusual directions: the movie follows Keira Woods (Elisha Cuthbert) as she moves into a new house with her family. But on their first night in their new home, they have to leave the teenage Ellie (Abby Fitz) and her brother Steven (Dylan Fitzmaurice Brady) alone.
When there is a power failure, Ellie has to go down into the spooky basement of the old building herself, in which she experienced a strange incident while visiting — and promptly disappears without a trace. During their desperate research, Keira and her husband Brian (Eoin Macken) discover strange symbols and equations.
Has Ellie disappeared into another dimension — or is there an uncanny power in the house?
