«American History X» is about skinhead Derek ( Edward Norton ), who takes part in racist attacks and one day ends up in prison for murder. When he is released three years later, he is a completely new person. He is ashamed of his past and now wants to prevent his little brother Danny ( Edward Furlong ), who is also active in right-wing circles, from making the same mistakes as he does.
