Sex sells! This has been known for a long time. But for Netflix , that business wisdom became all the more clear with the success of 365 Days . After all, the erotic hit, which at least borders on glossy soft porn, was the most popular Netflix film of 2020. Even the catastrophic response from critics (0 percent on Rotten Tomatoes ) could not prevent the streaming service from making a sequel to produce.
It was quiet about the sequel for a long time, but now the first trailer has been released, which immediately reveals the title and the start date: “365 Days 2″ is called ” 365 Days: This Day ” and will be released on April 27, 2022 on Netflix. This is what 365 Days 2: This Day is about
In “365 Days” the protagonist Laura ( Anna Maria Sieklucka ) was kidnapped by the extremely wealthy crime boss Massimo ( Michele Morrone ) and held captive in a luxurious mansion with a specific purpose. Massimo was – attention, irony – the gentleman and wanted the woman to make the first step (apart from the kidnapping number). So he gave Laura 365 days to fall in love with him. At first she resisted the gangster’s charm, but at some point she gave in to him and even accepted his marriage proposal.
In the “365 Days: This Day” trailer, the wedding of the two can now be seen. But it quickly becomes clear: Eternal loyalty cannot be expected from this couple. There is a crisis between the two and Laura falls for a new man who apparently works for Massimo. What is not clear, however, is what happened to Laura’s baby. At the end of the predecessor she announced that she was pregnant. Was that just a lie? The answer to this question will probably only be found in the finished film.
