Many of the characters in » The Boys » are clearly parodies and/or malicious versions of well-known superheroes from DC and Marvel: Homelander (Antony Starr) is a completely insane Superman and in season 3 of «The Boys» we then experience, among other things «Supernatural» star Jensen Ackles as Captain America parody Soldier Boy .
Just in time for the theatrical release of “ The Batman ”, those responsible for “The Boys” have now personally taken on the Dark Knight and replaced Batman in a series of posters with the members of the eponymous Boys. The posters themselves are based on various Batman films:
Directly based on «The Batman», the first poster shows Kimiko aka The Female ( Karen Fukuhara ) and adopts the font and the red and black color scheme from the DC hit currently in cinemas. The other posters also use well-known fonts and elements:
«Butcher Begins» is easy to guess » Batman Begins «.
«Frenchie: The Animated Henchman» alludes to » Batman: The Animated Series «, in Germany usually simply called «Batman».
Hughie Forever is, of course, Batman Forever .
And «MM» is » Batman » from 1989.
Incidentally, the accompanying text in the first tweet is a reference to » The Dark Knight » , in which the Joker (Heath Ledger) performs a «magic trick» and makes a pencil disappear by killing a gangster — only that according to «The Boys “-Twitter channel instead the superheroes disappear.

The new posters shouldn’t have much to do with the content of «The Boys» Season 3, because as far as is known so far, it’s not about a Batman parody, but above all about the Soldier Boy and his team, already mentioned at the beginning goes by the name of Payback and was preceded by Seven.
