On June 3, 2022 , the third season » The Boys » starts on Amazon Prime Video. With this adaptation of the American comic series of the same name, the streaming service has achieved a real hit: one of the few streaming series among the multitude of weekly new releases around which a fan cult is forming. Incidentally, the series franchise has just been expanded: since March 4th, all eight episodes of the spin-off “ The Boys: Diabolical ” have been available on Prime, each episode of this animated series tells a self-contained story.

As is well known, «The Boys» offers a much worse image of people or heroes than, for example, the Marvel films offer. Some of the «Boys» characters are based on famous comic book models and in the third season we meet, among other things, the Soldier Boy played by «Supernatural» star Jensen Ackles , who is the quasi «Boys» version of the righteous Captain America.

Soldier Boy — a cowardly, opportunistic guy in the comics — brings along an entire team called Payback. Anyone who knows and appreciates the comics is already looking forward to the implementation of the «Herogasm» storyline in Season 3. Here, the essence of what makes «The Boys» special is offered in the form of a party: Homelander and Co. celebrate a sex and drug orgy on a remote island. «The Boys» maker Eric Kripke promises a particularly frivolous implementation of this storyline from the comics.
