After two seasons of The Mandalorian and one season of The Book of Boba Fett , we can expect two Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor, between Episode III and Episode IV » to play. Then it goes back to the Mandoverse with the third season “The Mandalorian” – and the spin-off “ Ahsoka ”. And now there is good news on this.
A promising director has now been found in Peter Ramsey , who will direct at least one episode — probably the first, i.e. the important pilot episode that sets the style and tone for the rest of the season. This is reported by the US industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter .
From «Spider-Man» to «Star Wars»
Ramsey was one of three winners of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature as one of three directors of Spider -Man: Into The Spider-Verse and has previously worked on the animated feature The Guardians of Light “ Directed. So Ahsoka will be his first major directing effort in live-action, but we’re sure he’ll do it with flying colors.
After all , «Spider-Man: A New Universe» is one of the best, most creative and most surprising films of recent years. We gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars for the «ultimate film about the friendly neighborhood spider» , which puts the film in contention with » Spider-Man 2 » for the crown as Best Marvel Film.

For example, the “Spider-Man” film is ranked 15th among the 250 best films of all time on the letterboxd website, which is used by millions of film fans, and has sensational reviews (Metascore 87 out of 100 points, 97 percent positive reviews at Rotten Tomatoes).

» Star Wars: Ahsoka » is probably about the fact that the title character, played by Rosario Dawson as in «The Mandalorian» and «The Book Of Boba Fett» , travels across the galaxy, always looking for the «Star Wars» villain Grand Admiral Thrawn and Jedi Ezra Bridger, who once disappeared into hyperspace together in the finale of the Star Wars Rebels animated series.
As the Hollywood Reporter continues to write, filming on «Ahsoka» is scheduled to begin in April 2022. The series does not yet have a start date on Disney+ , but it should be released in spring 2023.
