In Dog, former elite soldier Jackson Briggs ( Channing Tatum ) is at rock bottom, both mentally and financially. To get his life back on track, he wants to rejoin the military. However, the commander of the local army base places a condition on Briggs’ return to the armed forces. This is how he gets to know the shepherd dog Lulu.
For years she was deployed at the front with her leader, Sergeant Rodríguez. However, his death has thrown the traumatized Lulu completely off track, making her unpredictable and even dangerous. Briggs, who is inexperienced with dogs, is supposed to make sure that she gets «normal» again. If he manages to appear with the four-legged friend at Rodríguez’s funeral without her freaking out, he can put on the uniform again. «That sounds easy,» thinks Briggs…
