The “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” franchise is currently on everyone’s lips – certainly thanks to the recently released Netflix sequel . In addition, Amazon Prime Video only recently added the original from 1974, known in Germany as “ Blutgericht in Texas ”, to its range. It stands to reason that numerous film fans have now tasted blood and want more – but the home cinema situation surrounding the film series can be quite intimidating…
After all, the horror series famous for psychological terror, crossing taste boundaries and crude depictions of violence has numerous parts – and these in turn have appeared in almost countless, often heavily abridged and often limited and therefore expensive editions. They are a treat for die-hard fans, but newcomers and bargain hunters tend to be discouraged. On March 25, 2022, however, the Turbine label will remedy the situation – with a slim, inexpensive triple feature box. And you don’t have to worry about censorship: the three films included in the set are of course completely uncut !

The box initially consists of the groundbreaking original and its brutally shrill sequel ” Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 “. Both films were directed by Tobe Hooper and temporarily indexed after their decades-long confiscation was lifted. They are now available uncut from the age of 18.
This does not apply to the prequel ” Leatherface “, which is also included in this set – the FSK refused the nasty shocker from 2017 the 18er rating . Instead, the uncut version has a Spio/JK seal, which certifies that there is no serious danger to young people.
