“ Heartstopper ” is based on a comic that originally only appeared online, but was later published as a graphic novel due to its success. The series adaptation could now also be a hit. With its coming-of-age theme, the queer love story ultimately serves a genre that is very popular on Netflix. In addition, “Heartstopper” is already being advertised extensively on the Netflix homepage (at least by the author of these lines), which shows that the streaming service also believes in the series.
