With “ This Is Us ” NBC can show a real series hit. The drama format has been extremely successful, especially in the United States, since 2016 and not only enjoys excellent reviews from the critics, but also shines with excellent audience ratings. With over 128,000 votes on IMDb , «This Is Us» has a strong rating of 8.7 out of 10 stars and is behind series such as «Ted Lasso», «The Blacklist», «Better Call Saul» and «The Witcher» in the popularity ranking relaxed.
If you haven’t seen the series yet, you can now do so via Disney+ . The first five seasons are now available on the Maushaus streaming service. However, there’s a catch to the whole thing, as the final sixth season isn’t yet in the Disney+ catalogue. This is currently still running on the US broadcaster NBC and will be published in the United States immediately after broadcast on the Hulu streaming service. And in Germany?
There is already a way to watch the sixth season in Germany too – and you don’t even have to use a VPN service to bypass the country block. On Amazon Prime Video, where the first five seasons are also available as a Prime subscription, all new episodes of Season 6 are currently being made available for purchase. The first six episodes of the final season are currently available for €2.99 per episode for a fee. In the future, however, the final season will also be streamable on Disney+.

That’s what «This Is Us» is about
The series, told across multiple timelines, follows the lives of three people who were born on the same day and their parents. Kate ( Chrissy Metz ) and Kevin Pearson ( Justin Hartley ) were born in 1980 as part of a triplet birth, but the third child died. The parents, Jack ( Milo Ventimiglia ) and Rebecca Pearson ( Mandy Moore ), then decided to adopt another child.
Randall ( Sterling K. Brown ), born the same day, was abandoned by his father in front of a fire station and later transferred to the same hospital where Kate and Kevin were born. The story of «This Is Us» constantly jumps back and forth between the three protagonists’ childhoods with their parents in Pittsburgh and their current family lives and careers in Los Angeles and New York City.
