The German offshoot of the successful comedy format “ LOL: Last One Laughing ” only saw the light of day in the streaming world a year ago, but round 3 of the hit show is already upon us: The third “LOL” season starts on April 14th April 2022 on Amazon Prime Video . On three consecutive Fridays there is again a double episode each time.
Nothing has changed in the proven concept: Again, ten comedians and entertainers locked together try to make each other laugh under the watchful eyes of moderator and referee Michael Bully Herbig . However, anyone who laughs twice (or even just smiles) is out. Whoever is left at the end can look forward to prize money of 50,000 euros for a good cause.

Big surprise in episode 2
Even if the show’s recipe for success hasn’t really been shaken, the six new episodes also offer all sorts of moments of surprise. And that doesn’t just mean the crazy numbers of the participating stars or prominent guest appearances, but above all two innovations that provide a real breath of fresh air.
On the one hand, the completely new studio is introduced right at the beginning, in which even the “LOL” returnees have to find their way around first. But even more exciting is an absolutely unexpected revelation at the end of episode 2, which should then provide a whole new dynamic, especially for the remaining four episodes. Everyone else who is still missing the last suggestion to take a look at the new episodes can be told that in episode 3 the participants will be confronted with a local audience for the first time. Mirco Nonchev’s last comedy performance
As much fun and madness the new “LOL” season promises again, many are likely to watch it with a crying eye this time. Finally, Season 1 returnee Mirco Nonchev is seen here in his final on-camera appearance, having died suddenly in December 2021, just after filming “LOL” ended, aged just 52. It is only logical that the third “LOL” season is dedicated to the full-blooded comedian right at the beginning.
