The video game adaptation ” Sonic The Hedgehog ” started in February 2020 shortly before the cinemas were closed due to the pandemic – and still developed into a real surprise hit, both in Germany and in the rest of the world. So it’s no wonder that the sequel ” Sonic The Hedgehog 2 ” will start in local cinemas this Thursday – and not only with the returnees Sonic, James Marsden and of course Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, but also with the highly anticipated newcomers Knuckles and Tails.
We gave the sequel the same rating as the first part – again rock-solid cinema entertainment, which, above all with its rapid narrative pace, ensures that there are hardly any lengths creeping in:
