When Susan meets the handsome FBI agent, he recruits her as an informant and even soon offers her a way out of the sadness of her life. The two quickly become much closer than planned and become entangled in an illicit affair that no one is allowed to find out about. But the starting signal for a catastrophe has already been given and at the end of the affair Mark Putnam becomes a murderer…
