Doctor Strange ( Benedict Cumberbatch ) will indeed encounter the Illuminati, a secretive group of powerful superheroes from the Marvel comics, in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. In the current issue of the film magazine Empire you can read next to a picture of Strange that he is standing in front of the Illuminati. Snapshots from the corresponding magazine page are currently circulating on the Internet, but for legal reasons we cannot include them here.
The special thing about it: The Illuminati are probably the most powerful team of heroes that we have seen in the MCU so far (if you exclude the assembled heroes at the end of «Avengers: Endgame»).
