Even with the smallest of resources, you can achieve great things – especially in the horror genre. For example, Sam Raimi’s cult classic » Dance of the Devil » cost $ 375,000 at the time. Now a British demon and splatter horror follows in the footsteps of this horror milestone. And even if Here Comes Hell doesn’t live up to its prequel in spirit (how many horror movies can?), it definitely deserves the attention of genre fans.
The indie horror production cost just £20,000. And even if director Jack McHenry really can’t ignite visually stunning fireworks with this mini-budget, he has managed to create a charming, brutal indie insider tip that scores with its stylish old English ambience and hearty practical effects. Horror fans can now convince themselves of this thanks to the new DVD and Blu-ray editions as well as in the stream — so far «Here Comes Hell» was only available as a relatively expensive, limited Mediabook edition.

While the Blu-ray, which is also limited, is currently no longer available, the film is still available as video-on-demand.
