The devils are not (yet) dancing again, but instead the witches are letting it rip: Before we see the new “Tanz der Teufel” or “Evil Dead” film “Evil Dead Rise”, there is » Wicked Witches » on DVD and Blu-ray from March 25, 2022 — and that sounds like the perfect alternative program for all fans of Sam Raimi’s legendary cult horror franchise.

Mark’s ( Duncan Casey ) wife is fed up once and for all: After several infidelities, she just doesn’t take part anymore — and breaks up with him. In search of a new shelter where he can stay temporarily, Mark ends up returning to a special place from his youth: the Dumpling Farm. After all, it is now managed by his former schoolmate Ian ( Justin Marosa ), who of course gives him a roof over his head.
Not only does Mark get a place to sleep on the farm, he also gets a job and, so to speak, everything he needs for a new start. He is happy to accept that Ian behaves in a strange way. In order to revive old times, he even organizes a big party, where not only old friends, many women and lots of alcohol and drugs come together, but soon the ultimate horror takes hold…
