Splendid movie
If there is a station that supplies its viewers with proper genre goods on a weekly basis, then it must be Tele 5. The fact that these are mostly direct-to-DVD actioners is not a bad thing. On the contrary: Often these are works that even film lovers didn’t always have on their screens. Whether these are always worthwhile is another matter.
With “ Knuckledust ”, an action thriller is celebrating its free TV premiere today on Tele 5 (from 10 p.m.), which basically sounds quite interesting. Because not only is the underground fight setting remotely reminiscent of David Fincher’s «Fight Club». The premise of a bloody massacre that poses a lot of puzzles for the police also offers potential for a thoroughly exciting story. With an IMDB rating of 4.7 out of 10 stars and a critics’ average of 57% on Rotten Tomatoes , the recommendation for «Knuckledust» is rather cautious at this point.
