Netflix continues to focus on ” Élite “: Just under half a year before the start of ” Élite” season 5, the streaming service extended the Spanish hit series by a sixth season. So after the shocking finale of Season 5, “Elite” fans need not worry that the series will not continue. And some information about the new episodes is already known.
Is Samuel really dead?
But let’s start with the end of Season 5 – and especially with the big question that should be on the minds of most “Elite” fans at the moment: Is Samuel ( Itzan Escamilla ) really dead after he got into a fight with Benjamín ( Diego Martín ) fell and fell into the water?
There is no definitive answer yet. However, if you look closely at the scene and the language of the film, he really does seem to be dead: the camera slowly moves back from his lifeless body, the alleged perpetrator is arrested, his friends mourn (and all this in the pouring rain and in slow motion).
Still, of course, there’s always the unwritten rule that no character is truly dead unless specifically stated and you see a funeral (and sometimes not even then). So a return of Samu is not completely impossible, but we don’t really believe in it.
5 newcomers in Las Encinas
As a replacement for Samuel and the other departures from Las Encinas, there are five newcomers in season 6 that Netflix has already announced: Carmen Arrufat , Álvaro de Juana , Ana Bokesa , Álex Pastrana and Ander Puig . There is no information about the roles of the five, but at least pictures of them in costume:
When is Elite season 6 coming?
All five previous seasons have been released yearly, so “Elite” Season 6 should be available on Netflix in the course of 2023 . However, since each season appeared in a different month, one can only speculate about the exact date.
