Everything Everywhere All At Once is the second feature film coup by the directing duo The Daniels. That’s the name of Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan , who already brought us the incredibly bizarre comedy » Swiss Army Man » with Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.
Her new film centers on superstar Michelle Yeoh , who, as laundromat operator Evelyn, must discover that there is a multiverse where different versions of herself and everyone else exist. All she really wants to do is clean up the personal chaos in her life with her daughter Joy ( Stephanie Hsu ) and, above all, get her tax return through with the unyielding clerk Deirdre Beaubeirdra ( Jamie Lee Curtis ).
But suddenly her husband Waymond ( Ke Huy Quan ) or a Waymond variant from a parallel universe reveals to her that this multiverse exists, that is threatened by a dark force and that Evelyn of all people is the last hope to stop it…
